All the waterproof mascaras I tried left black smears underneath my eyes. I looked like a raccoon and it was not easy to remove. I saw this on HSN , and ordered it!! It never smears under my eyes. On a rough day it might flake a tiny bite but that can be removed easily. I love that my lashes are still full and lovely. I use to watch my sister take off her water proof mascara and noticed her lashes were so sparse. That was not for me. This mascara comes off so easily. I've tried to use other mascaras (for one day only)but always come back to this one. I order 2 at a time because I can not be without it. I lengthen the life of this mascara, when it gets dry, by running the wand under the water to keep the tube moist!!! Works all the time.
I just wish it was not so expensive.

this mascara washes off with warm water in your hands. no soap, no oil, no special cleansers needed. stays on in swimming pool. can sleep with it on. does not smear. fabulous and worth every penny and effort to find it.

I have gone through literally dozens of different types of mascara because I always have the problem of it running and getting raccoon eyes. This is the only mascara I've ever had that I can wear all day without that problem. Just wish it was more easily accessible in the U.S.

Sorry folks but this mascara is far from being superlative. I made a purchase, a few years back something called Club 'A' fat lashes clinging silk which is an underbase volumizer (color of this product is white). The actual mascara goes over the volumizer and your eyelashes are long in an instant. One coat does the job. This product is far superior to Mirenesse.

I have used Mirenesse four (4) time and all four times it was nothing but a struggle, it does not go on smoothly and you have seconds to acknowledge the timeframe before you realize it is setting. Far as the product is concerned, using it only, because it comes off with only water, who cares it doesn't make long eyelashes instantaneously with ONE stroke. I'd rather use an eye remover lotion to take off my mascara that was much easier to apply in the first place.

Mirenesse is too expensive ($24.00 & up many sites) and it isn't what it is cracked up to be as the advertisement stipulates.

I started using this product back in 2003 when Mirenesse started advertising at QVC. It is the only mascara that DOES NOT smear under the eyes at all. I just do not use any other mascara on this planet. So worth the money.

Loved when I first received this mascara, but it did not even last for two months. I know I will never buy again....:(

My skin is very oily so mascara has a hard time staying on me. Like we have all run into, my favorite mascara, that actually did what it said it would do, waterproof, smear proof, was discontinued. Mirenesse Austrailia secret weapon award winning 24 hour mascara caught my attention. Unfortunately, it does not stay on, as a matter of fact cover girl waterproof for $4.99 stays on better. I will never buy this again and do not recommend it.

I typed into Google "best mascara in the world" and this Mirenesse Australia Secret Weapon Award Winning 24 Hour Mascara came up.
I live in the UK and it was only available abroad. Quite expensive for a mascara at $27 - I really was expecting something exceptional.
I gave it a try for 2 weeks and have now gone back to my old and much cheaper mascara.
There was nothing really special about it and I found it quite annoying to have a mass of black fibres all around my eyes when I splashed water on my face.
