Long lasting,stiff backing,doesn't block up easily. Wish this brand was available in 2" rolls,for Delta drum sander. Outlasts other brands at least 5:1 in custom cabinet shop!

I have been procrastinating in buying more Mirka paper. I have no clue why. I have used Mirka since the 1980's for everything from body work to wood working. Hands down the best paper ever. Throw the Norton stuff in the trash - as that's where it belongs. This doesn't blow off the edge grit like other I've used. A great overall paper, no matter the grit.

I can't say enough abouth this paper. It is by far the best sandpaper that you can buy for the money. The grit selections are uniform, and the paper backing lets you use the sandpaper far longer than ordinary generic types. This type of paper lasts as long as the project you are working on and if it wears down, hold onto to it for smaller tasks which don't require as much grit. The backing , when used with power sanders is tough enough to keep from damaging your pad if you should get a slight tear in it.
Buy this Mirka brand. You can pay more for a different brand, but why would you want to?
