My five year old always tells me how much he loves this series of superhero comic books. I like that the characters and the story are G-rated.

Like most of these superhero books for the kids, this one has a pretty simple plot. It centers around three Flash rogues (Captain Cold, Captain Boomerang, and Mirror Master) which made me unbelievably happy and, as such, Flash takes more of a leadership role than usual. The only real flaw with the book (which involves a ridiculous leap of faith on the JLA, but such is the realm of the childrens book genre) is that your little readers need to be familiar with the characters prior to reading. That is, if they don't know much about Flash rogues, you're going to need to school them on the basic abilities and powers of each of them. Really though, you should be doing that anyway. :)
