The Mirror Makes No Sense is a true story of a young man's journey. This is no ordinary man, Mark Angelo Cummings was born biologically a female. He brings the readers into his life, sharing his emotions, trials and tribulations. This book has something for everyone. He will make you laugh, cry and get you to think about your own feelings, towards many controversial subjects. Mark is a spiritual and God loving man. He wants to create awareness of the much needed unconditional love in our world. Mark's question to you is, are you happy with the reflection you see in the mirror? If the answer is yes, then you can feel really blessed, because for some of us though, the mirror makes no sense. Being transsexual is not a sin, a crime, nor deviant behavior. It is however, a birth defect, created at 8 weeks gestation, where the brain and the body failed to communicate. Because of this birth defect there are hate crimes, suicides, family break ups, and overall bigotry amongst religious groups. He hopes you take something from his work, but most of all he prays you open up your hearts and minds, and realize, we are all God's children too.

The need for role models in our transsexual community is evidant. Young transsexuals need to feel they have a future. I decided to write this book to educate their parents,teachers,the medical community, and the government. I have made it my quest, to have the world look at us with different eyes, eyes of compasion and understanding.
About the Author
Mark Angelo Cummings has been writing since he was 10 years old. The need to express his emotions, flowed through the pen and paper, at a very young age. His creativity was a gift from God, since he was robbed of his essense and true self for many years to come. Mark has worked through his pain and suffering, and now wants to help others work through theirs. He is the owner of Bodies Under Construction, Inc., and has helped many, transform their bodies and souls. Mark feels being a transexual man is a gift, not a curse. This thought process took time to develop and understand. We were once prize possessions of the ancient tribes, and we will be there again.

This book is written totally from the heart. It is obvious that English is the authors second language. I have been in contact with him and he is a wonderful person who is truly committed to making this world a better place for transgendered folks and the rest of us too. My suggestion would be better editing, which I or my son (FTM) will offer to do with him.

this was a good book. It took me two days to read it( i had a lot of homework so i couldn't read all the time) anyways it was a really good book. straight to the point but i wish there was more. I with the story was longer i wanted to feel more of what he was feeling.

I second that. Really, does the writer assert that transsexualism is caused by chemicals and toxins?? That's absurd. I'd really like to know.
