"Mirror Mirror...Am I Beautiful? Looking Deeper to Find Your True Beauty," is an excellent book. I really enjoyed how the author Shelly Hitz is so opened to sharing her own story. It is a great way for her teen readers to be able to relate to her, seeing that she struggled with the same topics. It is encouraging to read all the helpful tips about relationships and self-confidences. I have already recommend this book to many of my girl friends at school. I believe every teenage girl who reads it will defiantly have there eye's opened to things. The best point that Shell Hitz hit on is that nothing else will fills us up but the love relationship with Jesus Christ. All the attention from guys, shopping, successes, or even marriage in this life will still leave me empty. Only God can fill my heart with his love and joy.

Shelley is open and honest as she writes about the real stuff teen girls want and need to hear. She tackles some difficult subjects but doesn't back down. I've heard her speak about topics in this book and she exudes energy and passion to her audience. She has a passion to help teen girls...that is obvious! Her website is also awesome [...]. Be sure you buy this book for a teen girl in your life!!

I found this book very helpful. And very encauraging. It was a great blessing to read from an older Christian woman, her experience in practical modesty. Most older women I know just tell us girls to "go put something on" or "wear a longer skirt/top", but never share from experience how, or even why we should do such things. And sadly, a lot of time their action (specifically: how they dress) does not match what they teach us.
This book talks about practical modesty, self-esteem issues, and so much more.
It really helped me, and will help me many more times in the future, as I refer back to the pages full of advice and encauragement.
Thank you for the great book!!!
