and I shall introduce YOU to the sound of Yanni. This CD is one of my all time favorites. My 11 year old daughter listens to it to help her sleep. I have always loved this music it's a wonderful compliment to relaxation and peace.

Once I was in a Cafeteria and heard "Aria" they were showing a commercial for Toyota and I totally "tuned" everyone out and sought out where that music was coming from.... when I reached the TV I was looking as in awe (which made everyone notice me) but I could not stop from smiling from my insides and letting the song just flow over me. Okay so I'm corny but it does inspire you to think of another place, literally taking you away from here.

This album is one of my favorites. It has the perfect variety of songs from six of his albums. When I'm in the mood for listing to Yanni and reach for one of his albums, this is the one I pick 9 out of 10 times. The song "Aria" is on this album. I came to love "Aria" after seeing it performed on the VHS version of "Live at the Acropolis". If you have not seen "Live at the the Acropolis", you are missing something great. I have not viewed it on DVD, but some people do not think the DVD is as good as the VHS.

Yanni is one of my favorrite artist.I bought many of his albums and books.The song that I like to play most(piano) is " In the mirror". There is a feeling that can't express when I play it .The song is just non-stop that make it's great! His other songs are wonderful too such as Before I go, In the morning light,One man dreams these are not hard to play,but hard to play them as well as in CD.I would like him to play a concert in Thailand and compose a song for us....Wow! If anyone reading this text and want to talk to me about Yanni or Music,it'll be very kind of you to mail to me to share our opinion together.

I believe this album has all but the few experimental ingredients of Yanni's music. Containing tracks from 5-6 of his original albums, it is the perfect collection for anyone wanting to get introduced to Yanni. It includes the 'Live at Acropolis' concert track 'Aria', and recorded versions of a few others, but still has enough additional tracks to make it worth a purchase for someone who already owns 'Live at Acropolis' (which was the case with me). For the album, my picks are 'In the morning light', 'One man's dream', 'Once upon a time', 'Quiet man' and 'The end of August'. The later tracks on the album especially represent the softer Yanni music (as mentioned in Amazon.com review also). Overall, this is a collector's album for all Yanni fans.

My favorites on this album are "One man's dream, "Enchantment, and Face In the Photograph". This is a great additional to the Yanni music fan. Again, some of the songs are repeated on other albums, but all in all, this is another must have.

This CD is a selection from other CDs he's made, but it's still good, because I do like the selection. And, it's in good condition - purchased through Amazon.

Fantastic album, I am 28 and I had this also when I was 15 - used to go to sleep with it playing. I also like it now when my family eats dinner and we want to listen to music too! the song Aria is awesome, I think it was used in a car commercial about 15 years ago! Theres 2 women singing and they are incredible!

I purchased this CD for a few of the songs I had heard elsewhere. It's a good album and I'm happy with it.

I love this CD! It is Enchanting!

"Love for Life" and "Within Attraction" are some of the very good selections. I never am displeased when I hear the inventive music of Yanni, one of the best "New Agers."
