We bought this bell in the black with chrome plate to put on my daughter's 16" Diamondback Mini Della Cruz that she will be receiving for her birthday in January. We bought this bell after a bit of research, and after reading so many positive reviews here on Amazon.
We weren't disappointed. It's the perfect size - maybe a couple inches diameter - and the sound is pretty and fairly loud (not ear-splitting mind you). It's a simple little two-ding mechanism (hence the term 'duet', I assume) - one ding on the forward stroke, one as the lever goes back into place, unlike the bell we have on her trike which makes a series of dings as you flick it and as it goes back into place. I would have thought that two dings could not have sounded as good, but it does; in fact it probably sounds better than bell on her trike which cost more than twice as much as the Incredibell. There must be something to that whole brass bell sound. This bell doesn't feel cheap. It seems to be well-constructed, and I feel confident that it will last a long time. It installs right alongside the grips on the handlebar, and so it's easy to access while riding, without taking attention away from steering - a perfect 'first bike' accessory in this sense. I think it's worth noting that this bell is not made in China. It is made in Japan. I'm very pleased with this bell, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a compact bell with a nice tone.

pros:
1) This is a fancy little brass bell and is definitely loud enough for casual riding. 2) The sound is pleasant and traditional. 3) Overall build quality seems top notch; the trigger is firm when pulled and bounces right back into resting position with ease. cons: 1) My only problem with it is that the handlebar mount is on the small side for standard handlebars. It fits, but it's a stretch. A little tip, you can go to the Mirrycle website and listen to the sound of their bells though an audio file on each individual product page. Rest assured that the bell in person resonates much cleaner and louder than the wimpy audio file through computer speakers.

Mirycle Incredibell - They don't know how to spell but the bell is everything they say it is. I ride a recumbent bike 10 miles a day and I might add 76 years old. The walkers and runners I sneak up on appreciate my ringing of this pleasant brass bell sound. I like it very much.

Nice bell, lovely sound,

This bell has a lovely sound, either in brass or chrome plated (I have both on different bikes). It can be easily heard at a distance but doesn't startle anyone. When mounted near the grips it is easy to activate while riding. If your handlebars have a section with large diameter and a section with small diameter, it will only fit on the small end, but that is usually near the grip anyway.

I have a Trek 7.3 FX. The handle bars are tapered, but even the thinnest point would not allow this great little bell to fit. I am really very sad about this because it sounds so beautiful.

Ding-Ding, NOT Ding-Dong,

This is a nice looking bell, with a pleasant, lingering ring. It is also very compact and will fit in tight places, which might be a problem if you have a lot of accessories on your handlebars. One item of note, though: the product description calls this "a traditional ding-dong bell...". It is NOT a ding-dong bell. There are some fine bells out there which ARE of the ding-dong variety (Electra sells some). With a ding-dong bell, the "ding" is not the same note as the "dong." Sort of like a door bell.
This bell's "duet" is simply two strikes on the same ringer, so the sound is "ding-ding" not "ding-dong." If you are happy with a ding-ding bell, this should suit you fine. If you're really looking for a ding-dong bell, your search should not stop here.

This is a tiny, and very cute, device. Quite loud for it's size. When mounted on right, you ring it with your forefinger rather than your thumb. Durable, high quality product and very easy to mount.

Awesome Little Bell!,
This review is from: Mirrycle Incredibell Brass Duet Bicycle Bell (Sports)
I got this for my 4-year-old daughter's Micro kick scooter. I had to mount it to the vertical post, so it's in a little bit of a weird position, but she loves it because it's pink to match her scooter, loud and really small and unobtrusive. It also installed easily with one screw and holds tightly to very smooth aluminum tube.
Great product!

This is for children's bikes. It does not fit ADULT BIKES. Do not buy if you have an adult size bike.

Yes, this is tiny and very loud. The sheltie is not happy! I just put it on her little schwinn. It fit's perfect. My grandbaby is only 16 months old but I think she will be able to make it work. Can't wait for her to try it out. Very pleased.
