Gaby, Fofo y Miliki were a group of Spanish brothers that dreamt of being professional clowns like other members of their family. They dreamt of entertaining people in their native Spain and in the "ex-colonies", Cuba, Puerto Rico, South America, etc. Their dream became a reality and they were very succesfull and extremely popular. Even appearing on the Ed Sullivan show on several ocassions, not to mention the weekly TV show "LOS PAYASOS EN LA TELE". The music they used in their act became widely known, uniting all Spanish speaking kids of our generation. To this day when celebrating birthdays, Spanish speaking kids(including us 30'something kids)on either side of the Atlantic sing the normal "Happy Birthday song" followed by their famous, "Feliz, Feliz en tu dia" song. Listening to these songs brings back so many memories; if you remember Gaby, Fofo y Miliki, you must buy this cd. By the way you need to share and teach the songs to your own kids.

Es un recopilatorio de los temas más famosos de los payasos españoles. Canta Miliki con una serie de invitados famosos entre los que de destacan Goma Espuma, Miguel Bosé, Celia Cruz, etc...
Debe tenerlo para escucharlo con tus hijos. Te recomeindo el DVD de MILIKI animado que se llama "Había una vez". En este aparecen los famosos personajes de las canciones. A mi hijita le encanta esta música.

The music on this albumn is fun and energizing. I teach Spanish to children between the ages of 3 - 12. We have had so much fun dancing, acting out, and singing many of the songs on this albumn. Some of our favorites are "Hola Don Pepito" and "Mi Barba tiene tres Pelos"

A la verdad es que sí se transporta uno en el tiempo. Yo escuché estas canciones cuando era niña, y vivía en Puerto Rico. Ahora soy maestra en los Estados Unidos, y la gallina turuleca estará allí conmigo, para que esta generación de niños no se la pierda.

Wonderfull! Lots of childhood memories wrapped in this cd! Every latino kid should have one, I bet their parents will be the ones listening to it first.

Este disco es super chevere para ninos chiquitos, las canciones son clasicos infantiles que se conocen en toda latinoamerica, mi hijo se pasa escuchandolo y cantando todo el dia, le a ayudado mucho en el desarrollo del lenguaje. Recomendado 100%

De pequeños, nos criamos con la música de Gaby, Fofó y Miliki. Cuando tuve a mis hijos, y salió este CD, lo compré inmediatamente (en cassette, JAJA). Las primeras veces que lo escuché, se me salían las lágrimas; pero luego fue puro gozo. Eran las mismas canciones de mi niñez, la conocidísima voz de Miliki, pero con nuevos giros y adaptaciones que musicalmente le añaden a esta producción un carácter de colección. Mis hijos lo disfrutaron y lo cantaron hasta el cansancio y, por último, se dañó luego de años de uso. Ahora que tengo nuevos sobrinos, me pareció bueno ver si conseguía esa música que tanto les gustó a mis chicos y a mí. !Qué gran sorpresa cuando encontré mi CD favorito en Amazon!!! Obviamente, compré varios, y me quedé con una copia que disfrutamos nuevamente con nuestros hijos, ya más grandes. Tengo que reconocer que todavía se me escapa una lágrima con "El barquito de cáscara de nuez", con el acompañamiento de Miguel Bosé :-}

I'm one of those 30-years-old children! These are the songs I grew up with in the Dominican Republic back in the 80's. This is a great CD that I can now share with my daughter, as I remember my happy childhood in paradise. This is a must for any Spanish-speaking family or any 30-year-old child!

Escribo en español pues todo el que lea ésto debe poder entenderlo, si no, que no compre el CD. A todos los que nacimos entre 1965 & 1975 aproximadamente nos encantará tener esto para nuestros hijos. Cómpralo ya y verás de como te transportas en el tiempo!

Miliki is a member of the spanish clown act Gaby, Fofo y Miliki, who was famous in Spain and Latin America from the 1940s to the 1970s. Miliki is the only surviving member of the group, and he has decided to cut a record with the act's old songs, featuring guest appearences from spanish stars like Miguel Bosse and Miguel Rios. Maybe kids of today will not conect with him, but if you knew the group as a child you are going to like this.(I'm 32, so I remember the group in his final stages).
