I've been waiting for this album all year! While I can listen to this cover to cover, it falls short of Pedestals. To be fair Pedestals had "Cut Rides", "Sycamore", "So Close" and "Gut Rot", which are some pretty awesome standout songs on such a short EP. The new album is a bit more aggressive but maybe not quite as catchy or toe-tapping. I don't want this to sound like a negative review because I listen to this album every day, but they had set the bar pretty high with their previous work. But I don't know if any of my top 3 Such Gold songs are on this album. The album standouts to be are the more aggressive "Locked Out Of The Magic Theather", "Higher Places" and "Survival Of The Fondest".
