Book Description

This work contains some ponderings on the nature of the Christian tradition. These reflections have been contemplated in full since early childhood, initially as a devotee of the Christian faith, and later as an Applied Theologian and Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the greater glory of God.

The joy of anthropological study has been my blessed portion from the Most High. This fascinating endeavour continues to confirm an ever deeper heartfelt devotion to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

This particular series of thoughts were shared with a hermetic community of Christian adherents through a private chapel in the heart of England; although the main contents have been preached abroad for many years and in every circumstance. All praise to Christ our Lord.

Sermon format has been maintained for convenience in sharing.

First editions are preserved in their original format making them ideal preaching resources with bibliographies and notes at the end of each presentation.

Second editions have been optimised for personal reading with bibliographies and notes at the conclusion of the book.

Some textual changes have been made to second editions, but these are merely matters of refinement, and the core material of the presentations is not greatly affected. It is hoped that second editions are somewhat more fluid in readability.

Some of the joys of a lifelong study of our faith have been perused here, and the hope is that they are presented in such a way as to be of interest to both scholar and devotee alike.

Let the sinner repent and the righteous rejoice at the presence of the Lord of Peace. Amen. Alleluia.

Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love.

Yours in Christ.

Revd. Dr. TJ Higley
