I had such trouble giving Les Miserables 4 stars, as it is one of my favorite stories. However, this edition (Barnes and Noble branded)has SO many typos! Shame on you, B&N, for not having better editors!

If you've only seen the musical, you ain't seen nothing yet! This is the full version of one of the most poignant and insightful novels in all of literature. Hugo's perspectives on life, faith, law, grace, and revolution are profoundly and touchingly portrayed in the characters of Jean Valjean and his Cossette amid the swirling cesspool of 19th Century French society.
