This review is from: Mises and Austrian economics: A personal view
As the other reviewers noted a very informative short introduction to a very relevant topic. But don't pay $279.99, or $29.99, or $7.94 (plus $3.99 S&H), or even $3. No, go to the Ludwig von Mises Institute web site and view the PDF for free.

Good introduction to the topic,

This is a good introduction to the basics of Austrian economics. It's short enough that it can be read in pretty much one sitting, it's basically essay-length, but Dr. Paul still manages to pack in a lot of good information.
Even if you don't know much about economics, this book is still very accessible. I'd particularly recommend it if you're not familiar with Austrian economics. Dr. Paul avoids getting excessively technical or using too much jargon. Even if you're not especially interested in economics, I'd still recommend reading this book - it doesn't take that long to read and every informed citizen and voter should know at least something about economics. Economics is something that affects everyone every day of their life whether they like it or not, so why don't more people study it? I'd highly recommend this book. By the way, Dr. Paul is running for President in 2008, so a lot of the issues he brings up here are going to be a factor in the election - just one more reason to read it if you wish to be an informed voter. If you're not familiar with Dr. Paul, want to learn more about his views on economics, or haven't decided who you're voting for in 2008, those are great reasons to read this book. Even if those don't apply to you, though, I'd still recommend reading this book.

This is a short pamphlet published by the Ludwig von Mises Institute (and still available from them for $3!) on Paul's education in Austrian economics. Nice little intro to the topic.

Ron Paul is one of today's greatest economic minds. I highly recommend this book to those people who intuitively recognize the flaws of Keynesianism and are searching for an economic model that accurately explains the economic events of today's world.

This was only a "phamlet" not a book. It really didn't say much of anything! I want my money back!
