We can never, now, read Mishima's works without knowing how he died, and this, presumably, was the point.
Yukio Mishima's life was an incredible work of art and this film captures it in a visionary, compelling, and inspiring way.
The additional material, from commentaries to background material to a fine BBC documentary, is a true gift.
