This is a collection of hits by super-talented Japanese RnB singer MISIA.
MISIA first made her debut in 1998 with the album 'Mother Father Brother Sister' and the mini-album 'The Glory Day'.
This album includes tracks from both of these, as well as her 'Love is the Message' (2000) 'Marvelous' (2001)and 'Kiss In The Sky' (2002)albums.
The album is a mix of upbeat fun numbers (tracks 1,2,4,5) hip-hop/rnb (6,10) pretty love songs (8,9,3) and tear-jerking ballards (7,11,12).
My favorites off this album are 'Sweetness'- thats probably my fave MISIA song of all time- which is a really cute soft-sounding song which shows off her beautiful voice really well.
Another favorite of mine is 'Everything' which is a ballard that broke sales records in Japan as it remained no.1 in the charts for such a long time.
Mariah Carey is a good comparison to MISIA's style so if you like Mariah-types you will love MISIA!
Infact, any RnB/soul fan would love MISIA whether Japanese speaking or not. Her vocals are incredible and this album justifies why she has become such a phenomenal success in Japan.

Misia is one of the best Asian singers I've ever listened to!!, February 10, 2009
This review is from: Misia Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
This compilation is nice, soulful and smooth. R&B sensation Misia shines on this album. I am Black man and I don't speak Japanese fluently, but I can feel her emotion and soul. She is quite simply a phenomenal vocalist with a 5-Octave vocal range.
A true artist expressing herself to the world, Misia should not be missed. When she sings, you feel it, no matter what language you speak.
