K.D. Lang: What a Voice!, August 3, 2002

I remember the first time I heard k.d. lang's voice.
It was during a press preview of the film "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues." On the soundtrack, was this hauntingly, pure voice that was so unbelievable, after the film, I had to run out and buy the CD. Soon after, I heard "Miss Chatelaine" (to date, it remains one of my favorite k.d. lang singles) and my love affair with this incredible singer began.
Years later, I cancelled a trip to Nashville (I lost $400 on airfare) to see her perform live. To date, I've seen her live three times. She is amazing. She is beautiful. And that voice still sends shivers up and down my spine.

Fabulous Dance Mix, December 4, 2003

I am not always a fan when it comes to dance mixes of songs I'm fond of in their original form, but this is one of my favorites. The ST. TROPEZ MIX is my favorite version of the song. The mix does not intrude on the beauty of the original but just adds a little more zip to make it more dancable. I am a DJ and this mix has become a go-to mid tempo staple of my playlist.
