4.0 out of 5 stars Romance For A Cold Night, October 12, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Miss And The Maverick (Harlequin Historical) (Paperback)
From the back cover:
Carrie O'Brian was not a thief. After all, the wagonload of goods she had taken from two-timing Steven Bishop had been bought with her money. Why then did the disreputable-looking Luke Savage have to be her only hope of reaching the Colorado gold fields and recouping her losses? Something wasn't right. Carrie O'Brian didn't look like a thief. But Luke Savage didn't trust her any more than he trusted the man who had hired him to find her. Still, there was a passionate woman underneath Carrie's prickly exterior, and Luke's curiosity had gotten the better of him. Maybe he'd stick around long enough to find out just who was telling the truth.

I would not part from my copy unless someone paid me good money. And then I'd look for a better copy.
