My daughter (2yrs) loves this book! It's a sweet day-in-the-life story of a beloved stuffed mouse. It is a good bedtime storybook because it finishs with a cuddle and a kiss...the best way to end. My daughter picked it out herself and immediately sat down to "read" it, creating her own story-then begging me to read her the words. It has simple text with a lot of colorful pictures that are full of action and detail...which is why the simple prose works so well. All in all an instant favorite.

A little girl and her stuffed mouse doll play together all day long -- this is a wonderful glimpse into the world of play and imagination, and parents with a kid like this will smile with recognition. So will their children. Followed by the sequel, "Miss Mouse Takes Off." (ReadThatAgain) |
