This review is from: Missa Solemnis Op 123 in D Major (Audio CD)
Helmuth Rilling and the Bach Collegium Stuttgart delivers quite a punch with Beethoven's most famous church mass. Though the volume audio might be a little too soft, this interpretation is still, what I call, a marvel. The soloists do a fine job with their parts (especially Quivar and Schmidt) and the choir is incredibly astonishing. A must for those who either a beginner in church music, or who are interested in underrated gems like this one.
