My daughter bought this book for me because she knew I liked Lisa Jackson's books. This book was horrible. It was nothing like the Lisa Jackson that I am used to reading. I did finish the first part of it because I thought it might get better. I was sadly mistaken.

This book is just sex, sex and more sex, nothing to it, could not even finish it. Save your money

I have read several of Lisa Jackson's books, liked them all...so far. This was the worst. It's almost like someone else wrote it--someone who just took a course in writing romantic fiction. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I can't recall any of her other books relying so heavily on eye color or hair color. The characters could never just have their eyes meet. She had to meet his hazel eyes, or he had to lock onto her silver eyes. And she could never just let her hair down. It was always, she let down her coppery hair, or he ran a hand through his dark locks. Okay, we get it...she has coppery colored hair and intense silver eyes. He has dark hair and hazel eyes. Enough already! I think if she did a ctrl+F and typed in HAZEL that word would come up about 100 times. Way too much. It got to the point that I began to roll my chestnut eyes every time their eye or hair color was mentioned-lol.

I gave this two stars because I couldn't give it one and a half. I felt like the story dragged on, but toward the middle it began to get a bit more interesting. If you don't mind constant mention of eye and hair color throughout a book, or slow pace, then maybe this book won't rate a 2 for you. JMHO.
