Missing,
This review is from: Missing (Paperback)
The book, "Missing" by R.G.Hinrichsen is a great adventure story with just the right amount of romance. Hinrichsen interweaves various characters in a way that keeps you guessing what will happen next. I picked up the book one evening and couldn't put it down until I finished it. I would definately recommend this book.

Missing by Ronda Gibb Hinrichsen
For a first time novel, Ronda did herself proud. I really enjoyed this suspense story, not really knowing until the end, why Beckka was kidnapped from her home in Rexburg, Idaho. Stacie Cox, a young college girl on tour in Vancouver, British Columbia, with her BYU Choir, is singing a solo at Craigdarroch Castle, when she spots Beckka with a strange woman. When they disappear, Stacie gets help from Matt Brennan, a friend she is beginning to have feelings for, but has forbidden to get close to because of tragedy in her past that has come back to haunt her. There are a couple of other friends who also help in the search and the authorities seem to be of no help, as they seem suscpicious of Stacie's meddling. When Stacie does get more involved, she gets in over her head, as there's more at stake than just a young child's life. When Stacie's life is endangered, there doesn't seem to be any way but to plung forward, even to endangering Beckka as well. She has to pull on her lifeguard skills if she's to save Beckka and everyone else. Forever Friends Rating 4 Stars by Teri Until Next Time, See You Around The Book Nook. A Great Mystery for Any Spiritual-Minded Person,
This review is from: Missing (Paperback)
This is probably the best LDS novel I've read. I actually found myself wishing for more LDS elements because there really weren't any until the last few chapters. Because of that, despite the book cover saying it's an LDS mystery, I think it's a mystery that would be enjoyed by any spiritual-minded person, regardless of religion.
A really great page-turner, Missing had me going right from the beginning. There were plenty of reasons to keep reading, believable and endearing characters and trouble piled on top of trouble for an adrenaline packed roller coaster ride. This is Ronda Gibb Hinrichsen's debut novel, and I think she hit it out of the park. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a fast-paced mystery and would appreciate a clean story to boot.

Good CLEAN read,

I could not put it down! Most people experience at least one sliver of time where they are put in a position where they must ask themselves how far they will go to help a complete stranger.
The main character, Stacie, is thrust into this scenario in a foreign country while singing with a choir. The little girl is one she helped search for back in her hometown who had come up Missing. I loved Stacie's courage and integrity to stand up for what she knew to be true in the face of everyone who discouraged her from tracking down the missing child. I look forward to her next book and hope it won't be too long, the world is in need of uplifting (exciting) books.

Missing is an amazing book,

During a musical performance, Stacie saw a kidnapped child in the audience, but the girl disappears. Stacie had the courage to pursue the child even when no one except a handsome Matt believed her. He helps her in the search, while she tries to resist the attraction she feels for him. Stacie puts her own life on the line to find this child and bring her to safety. Even though Stacie faced many difficult trials in her life, she still listened to the whisperings within her own heart. The characters in the book were real and I could picture each scene. I would recommend this book to everyone who likes a good mystery and romance. This is an amazing book, and I give it a big 10.
