Book Description

September 1, 2001
LDS missionaries who serve in South America often return with wonderful accounts of baptizing several people each month. But what if you were called to serve in Wyoming, where convert baptisms can often be counted on one hand? Are those missionaries doomed to have unsuccessful missions? Of course not, as this charming story illustrates.

Based upon the author's own experiences as a convert to the church at age 46, Mission Accomplished details how a succession of missionaries slowly changed the lives of a family and a town through their dedication and perseverance.

The first missionaries who "planted the gospel seeds" in the town were long gone by the time the fruit of their labors began to blossom. Conversions weren't as plentiful for these missionaries, but the power of the Spirit and opportunities for a successful mission were still abundant.
