Designed to tonally match any of Mission's m3i series speakers in a home theater installation, the center speaker provides excellent clarity and dynamic performance whether you're viewing a big-budget action spectacle or a sophisticated, conversation-heavy indie. The speaker owes its crisp audio characteristics to its twin 3.93 DiaDrive bass units, which integrate seamlessly with the 1-inch Viotex fabric dome tweeter to ensure wide bandwidth and fine detailing. In fact, the resulting frequency response of 56 Hz to 20 kHz is superior to that of many competing center speakers, including Mission's own m3c1i.

The speaker's i-series crossover, meanwhile, takes into account the baffle diffraction effect to give a more open and detailed midrange performance, with superior integration between the drivers for smoother treble output. The crossovers are wired with Mission's special HP-OFC (high-purity oxygen-free copper) cable, which features dedicated bass and treble formulations to further enhance the audio clarity. In addition, the speaker's five-way gold-plated binding posts guarantee a pure, distortion-free signal that won't degrade over time.

Listeners can locate the cherry-finished m3c2i on or near almost any TV or monitor, and its high sensitivity and easy-drive characteristics make it suitable for most A/V receivers.
