I've owned this futon for a year now and there is little I would change about it. It is constructed of solid pine that it is thick and strong. I've used it as a makeshift bed for the year. It has two compfortable positions it can lock into and a thick mattress pad that takes alot of use before it flattens out a little. The decorative sides of the bed come off after awhile, they need to nail them in place better, Overall though it is the best futon you can get for the price. It is not flimsy. The bed folds out into a full bed and has considerable length that a tall person has room for their legs. Purchase this futon if you need a cheap bed and you do not want to buy a cheap flimsy futon. It is a median between a bed and a cheap futon.

This futon is very nice looking and very sturdy. It's also quite comfortable to sleep on but it's very uncomfortable to sit on. So whether you buy it depends on what you need it the most for. We wanted an extra bed for company so it worked out fine for us. If we had wanted it as extra seating I would have been very disappointed.

I received my Futon sooner than expected and love it. I have no complaints about this product and would recommend it to anyone who needs a spare bed. It's very well built and was fairly easy to put together. I still haven't had a guest sleep on it so I don't know how comfortable it is yet, but it is a quality futon mattress (extra thick) and I'm sure it is very comfortable-my Boxer Booder sure thinks so!!!

I went to several furniture stores to find a futon before I decided to order this one. I did not want a metal frame. I wanted a solid wooden frame (no pressboard), and a comfortable mattress (with a nice cover) for a reasonable price. I wasn't sure what to expect, because the price was so reasonable. This is a very nice piece of furniture! It's solid and does not squeak or rattle. It's very comfortable to sit on, and sleep on. I was able to build this myself. The pieces were clearly labeled, and it all fit together nicely. It is a heavy piece of furniture, but with a little balancing, I had no trouble. I lowers to a flat position easily, and raises back up into place by lifting the back. I'm so glad I bought this instead of the expensive ones I saw in the furniture stores! I'm very happy with this.
