Have ot say I was sooooooooo happy to see this series. Have Seasons 1-4 and await for the next one. I was so unhappy when Landau and Bains left the series to do Space 1999 but the show still goes on.

I rented season 5 from Blockbuster. Episodes are clear and more pristine than shown on analog (color TV) back in the days when I watched the series. Set in the Sixties, the production staff evolved away from the cold war "spy vs. spy" into the drug cartels and terrorism which is still a reality today in 2009. Leslie Ann Warren (who I adore) and Leonard Nimoy continue to make great casting choice and complement the existing stars (Greg Morris, Peter Lupus, and Peter Graves). Interesting to note, Greg Morris as Barney Collier holds the greatest number of (169) episodes, 1966-1973).

Now that I had received the Fourth TV series of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, like all dedicated fans, I would look forward to receiving the Fifth (Season) TV series before the year is through.
It is with much regret that the two very significant husband and wife team in Martin Landau and Barbara Bains had departed since the end of the Third Season, we are fortunate to have Leonard Nimoy of the Star Trek famed - Mr. Sparks - to act as another Rollin Hand (Martin Landau).
With the Fifth Season out, there would only be the Sixth and Seventh Seasons left to complete the entire Mission Impossible TV series.
I think it is about time that we the fans should be able to see the "father of all Westerns" which is THE HIGH CHAPARRAL from Paramount in place of the by then Mission Impossible Series. And I will keep my finger crossed as to the appearance of The High Chaparral to which I am sure will be a high dollar earner for both the producer (Paramount) and the vendor (Amazon.com). Fans all over the wide world are eagerly waiting for HC's reappearance as a series of DVDs. These would be better than the "illegal" boot-legging series. Could HC's fans dream come true and soon???
