Jonathan Pierce is in my opinion one of the greatest contemporary artist in the gospel music field today. This album is a wonderful way to relay the messages of God to the younger people in today's nasty world. Knowing Jonathan from The Gaither Vocal Band, I know that there is a true meaning behind what he is singing. It is coming from the heart.

This album is very spiritual, it brings the message of forgiveness and love, my advice is to buy it.

"Mission" is Jonathan Pierce's second solo album and it doesn't disappoint. It is more vocally ambitious than "One Love," his first album. A few of the cuts (such as "Hold Me In Your Arms) let us see the fun side of Jonathan's music, while songs like "Farther Than Your Grace Can Reach" show us the softness and power of his voice. His remake of "Praise the Lord" is amazing and "I Belive In Christ" follows in the same vein. My favorite track is "To Be A Christian." This song depicts what being a true Christian is all about. It would have had great potential if it had been released as a single. This is a great album that will encourage the listener to be all they can for God. Enjoy it!

FANTASTIC ALBUM! The best voice in "Christian Music". An obvious true to the heart christian! So many of the songs on this album minister to me...I can't name all hte adjectives that apply to his album, and Jonathan Pierce...The CMA, and the Dove Awards, must be hearing, and seeing this "Great" talent!

ALBUM #2 IS TOP DRAWER LIKE ALBUM #1 "ONE LOVE." "MISSION" LETS YOU KNOW ABOUT "CHRIST" AND OUR "LORD." SO MANY GREAT SONGS WRITTEN BY JONATHAN PIERCE. SINGLE GRAIN OF FAITH, PRAISE THE LORD, WITH ALL MY HEART, I BELIEVE IN CHRIST, FARTHER THAN YOUR GRACE CAN REACH, TO BE A CHRISTAIN-THESE 6 OF THE 10 SONGS HAD #1 POTENTIAL. THE OTHER 4 HAD #2 POTENTIAL. WHERE ARE THE DOVE AWARDS? SOMETIMES I WONDER IF THE DOVE AWARDS AREN'T POLITICAL!! MAYBE CURB RECORDS SHOULD DVERTISE MORE & MAKE A VIDEO OF EACH ALBUM. Jonathan Pierce has an incredible voice and an inspired way of delivering the Christian message in song. My kids and I have enjoyed this CD, but when it was stolen from my parked car I could only rejoice, hoping that the thief would hear the songs and change his ways. Don't miss the music of Jonathan Pierce!

Hands down, Jonathan Pierce is the best! His words are truly inspiring to Christians everywhere. This CD has so many incredible songs on it! To Be a Christian and Mission of Life tell us exactly what it means to be a Christian. Check it out -- you'll be glad you did :-)

This is one of the best cds i have heard. I listen to it all the time and i never tire of hearing it. I showed it to my brother and now he takes it from me all the time. Now that i have heard this i want to get First Love

He remains true to his gospel background. There is no compromise in any of his lyrics. The lyrics are amazing, all of which you can play to a diverse crowd. I have yet to see a person not appreciate his music. It is just to bad he is not better labeled for more advertisement.

Jonathan is the most amazing singer in the world. His voice is unbelievable. Almost all the songs on this album were written or co-written by Jonathan and his wife (Denise). "I Believe In Christ" is incredible and was nominated for Song of the Year at the 1999 Dove Awards. "To Be A Christian" is a beautiful song that describes the role of Christians in everyday life. "Praise the Lord" is even better than the original. "With All Of My Heart" showcases JP's amazing vocal power that no one else can match. I was very blessed to meet him this past May, and his spirit has the same beauty as his songs. If you never buy another cd, buy this one. He will amaze you.
