4.0 out of 5 stars A few tips
I really like my console table. I've purchased and assembled five pieces of furniture from the Mission Collection, and this piece was in fact a bit wobblier, but I think that's due to it's height. I've found that placing a dolop of wood glue in the dowel holes helps. I also tighten the camlocks with a screw gun, which gives you a tighter screw that just a hand-held...

3.0 out of 5 stars Buy this along with some glue.
It looks nice but it's VERY unstable if not glued together. Get a small bottle of wood glue and that should help.

I really like my console table. I've purchased and assembled five pieces of furniture from the Mission Collection, and this piece was in fact a bit wobblier, but I think that's due to it's height. I've found that placing a dolop of wood glue in the dowel holes helps. I also tighten the camlocks with a screw gun, which gives you a tighter screw that just a hand-held screwdriver. I also suggest assembling the table without tightening any of the screws or camlocks, and then setting the table upright and stablizing it by applying pressure from the top. This prevents wobbling. After it's level, you can then tighten all of the screws and camlocks. This technique worked on the console table, coffee table, and end table. It's now very sturdy, and I even have four cats that are always jumping up on it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mission Console Table, July 24, 2004

I recently purchased a Mission Console Table. I considered it because of my experience and satisfaction with the quality of many other rubberwood Mission items that I have purchased. I am really pleased by the design, quality, and fit and finish of these products. The grain texture and color of the wood are just beautiful; and the fact that rubberwood is a renewable resource, being utilized responsibly and secondarily to the rubber tree's primary function, is very appealing and important to me.

I bought the table to put my stereo on, so I was a little nervous when reading other reviews that said the table was not very stable. I ordered it anyway because I have the matching shelf, coffee table, and end table and am very glad that I did. I am extremely happy with the table. It is not shaky at all and it perfectly accents my room. I am again impressed with the quality of the mission furniture.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Table!, January 31, 2007
This review is from: Mission Natural Console Table (Kitchen)
I have had this console table for about 2 years. It was very easy to assemble, I just added a little wood glue while assembling the screws in. It is very sturdy if you follow the instructions and add a little wood glue (inexpensive at any hardware store). I preferred adding the wood glue because I did want it be sturdy. It is a very nice neutral color that matches anything. So far in the 2 years I have had it, nothing has gone wrong, it still is very nice.

Another nice piece from the Mission Collection. I would buy more. We are using this in our entry hallway because it is nice and long, but does not jut out into the space too much. It works well and looks very nice. Assembly very easy.

This is the fourth piece of furntiure I have bought from this line (mission, natural). I love it. I have a bookcase and two tables that originally were for a computer work center, but use them as night-stands. It fits my 1950's contemporary home perfectly. Price is great. Delivery even better. I ordered on a Saturday night and received it by Tuesday noon. I couldn't ask for more.

My husband purchased the Console table and the bookshelves for my massage studio. I put together 2 bookshelves and 1 console table in 2 hours. I love them. They are sturdy and solidly built. I have an 18 quart stone massage heater and several hot stones on one table- it holds up nicely. I would suggest this set to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks Great!, January 4, 2005

I just bought the Mission Console Table, two Mission End tables, the Mission Computer Desk, and Mission File Cabinet. My living room looks great. I love how all these pieces look together, and I love how there are so many things I can add to the room to make it coordinate. I found Furio picture frames that matched the finish of the wood perfectly. Thanks Target!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, August 18, 2004

Bought this table and the rest of the collection at my local target store. These go with any decor and are easy to assemble. I didn't have any problems with any wobbleing of any of mine, but I have hard wood floors as well. This is a great deal for the money! I plan to get the magazine and book shelf next!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great multifunctional table at a great price!, June 1, 2007
This review is from: Mission Natural Console Table (Kitchen)
I love this table! I was looking for something to use as a vanity in my room (minus the mirror) because my dressers are very tall, and this fits the bill perfectly. I received the order ONE DAY after I placed it, and it came packaged very well with simple instructions and was easy to assemble. (I will note that they ought to have a native English speaker proofread the assembly instructions -- "attack the cam screw" was one of the funnier typos.) I think I'll be buying another one of these to use as a home bar -- love the color and finish! My one complaint is about the wood "caps" meant to cover the screw holes... some of mine were too small and slid all the way in and I cannot get them out. Minor issue with an otherwise fantastic buy.
