I am awaiting the shipper to return this item. It arrives in about a million pieces, no part pre-assembled in any way, and the materials were of such poor quality that even screws were breaking making it impossible to assemble. I am well experienced in assembling furniture, including beds, desks, dressers in past so not easily intimidated. I even called in my 24 year old son for help, as he works in a cabinet-making shop. After four hours, with connectors and screws snapping even when handled with great care we were nowhere near assembled. We knew this was an inexpensive piece, but even with that in mind we were shocked at the inferior quality of the many parts. Decided that since we were unable to complete assembly, and knowing how poor the quality of the piece was, we would return.

We were VERY PLEASED with Home Decorator's customer service, they will be sending over a freight delivery company to pick this 200 lb monster up for a return and refund. This is the only reason we can give this order even one star. Still, it was a multi-hour job to re-pack this mess for shipping. What a great big pain in the neck. I understand that the freight company will contact us in 3-5 days to schedule the pick-up; this is day 5, so we are hopeful that all will go well.
