We HIGHLY recommend this book to those who are dealing with the issue of being unequally yoked in their marriage. This would also make a GREAT resource for small group Bible studies for women in similar circumstances.

If your husband is unsaved take heart. A man is most likely to be led to faith in Christ by their believing wife. The sacred Scriptures are not silent concerning your role as a believing wife with your unsaved husband. Deborah, has in MISSION POSSIBLE, expounded scriptures to encourage women to believe God with a radical faith for the salvation of their spouse. She helps women fulfill their role in the marriage for the salvation of their mate. Give MISSION POSSIBLE to any lady praying for the salvation of her husband. In Jesus, - Scott Yirka, Pastor/Teacher Hibernia Baptist Church Fleming Island, FL --Publisher's website

As a Christ-centered Counselor in ministry for over 25 years, I find Mission Possible to be an important must read book for those who find themselves in a marriage where one partner is saved and the other is not. This would be the beginning of embracing Christ as Husband, and dying to self trying to change the earthly partner. It is in that surrender that one finds true peace and Christ can become Life. So many marriages go under because no one wants to embrace Galatians 2:20, that the life we now live, we live by THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD who LOVED US and GAVE HIMSELF for us. Only when we understand that it is His Faith, not ours, do we begin to appropriate the Word as living reality. Deborah does an excellent job delivering this message. I can only add a word of caution: That is when one is in an abusive relationship where there is physical and mental harm, one is free to depart. Departure is not then necessarily the end, but a time to rest while He works and reveals Truth...Truth that will set you free! Drucilla Graham, M.A., Pres. Faith Fellowship Ministries, Inc. More About the Author

Author Deborah McCarragher had a desire to publish her first book, MISSION POSSIBLE - Spiritual Covering for years, but it literally "sat on a spiritual shelf" until God released her to have it printed in late 2007. It has since been revised and re-released in 2009. The book addresses the struggles and difficulty of a marriage when one spouse finds the Lord first. Being unequally yoked after you are married presents a unique situation.

Deborah's mission is to encourage women through scripture to believe in God's Word to transform their husbands, and by challenging women to minister to their spouses in a way that glorifies God. The author's candid approach makes this book an easy read, and compels the reader to join her in her quest to reach her husband for Christ. Alabaster Box Publishing's motto is: Books to stir your mind & stretch your Soul!

Deborah began her journey of creative writing soon after coming to know Jesus as her personal savior in 1989. She uses her spiritual gifts of encouragement and teaching in her home church. She also enjoys in-depth bible study in her personal time, and is a small business owner of over twenty years. She and her husband have one married son serving in the US Military. They reside in north Florida.

Her primary goal is to share her personal testimony with others while bringing hope and practical help through her book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Your mission - if you choose to accept it...is an important one!, October 13, 2009
This review is from: Mission Possible Spiritual Covering (Paperback)
Christian women have the remarkable opportunity to show their husbands the true meaning of living a life for Christ. Through this example and strength of faith a change can and will take place in your husband's life forever. This point is supported and illustrated in "Mission Possible - Spiritual Covering."

If you are a Christian woman striving to introduce your husband to a saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior, you will truly love and embrace the inspiration and hope found in this book. Unlike other books with religious themes, "Mission Possible" is a clear road map leading to an everlasting peace within your home.

Reading "Mission Possible - Spiritual Covering," will encourage and fortify you as you journey with your husband on the road to salvation. By the end, you will be prepared to show and demonstrate to your husband a crystal clear understanding of God's mercy, love, and desire.

The `seek and find' sections in "Mission Possible - Spiritual Covering" provide a refreshing twist to normal how-to books. Each section presents questions regarding relevant Scriptures for the reader to answer. By answering these questions in conjunction with the book the reader will be better prepared and reassured in her effort to help her husband. Finally the reader will feel inspired--containing wisdom and then applying the practical advice given as reference from "Mission Possible."

Right from the first paragraph, Deborah's experience and passion will capture your undivided attention. Again and again, she presents her faith and conviction in the Scriptures with a pace that's quick and always fresh. The heart filled passion and desire for her husband to find and establish a relationship with our Lord and Savior is virtually on every page.

Need confidence, support, and hope for your husband's relationship with God and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ?

I recommend reading "Mission Possible - Spiritual Covering"...an excellent resource book that will change the life of both you and your husband forever. Now you can feel assured knowing that you and your husband will walk hand in hand basking in the Lord's everlasting grace, mercy and love.

3.0 out of 5 stars For Women with Unbelieving Husbands, February 12, 2011
This review is from: Mission Possible Spiritual Covering (Paperback)
More than a book, Mission Possible is a Bible study and prayer guide. It tells of one woman's struggle on her knees and what she learned as she waited for her husband to follow her in faith. Each chapter ends with questions for the reader to answer. The reader will find much here to help anyone waiting for a husband or a family member to come to the Lord. She quoted passages that will help me in my prayer life for any family member or friend.

However, in a book, I would have liked to see more personality. She never mentioned her husband's name. I want her to tell me a story of his ethical behavior--she describes him as a "good moral" man--times when she felt pride in him, and times of insensitivity on his part: describe conversations they had that may have discouraged her, and tell of the moments she saw him moving toward the Lord so I can rejoice with her. I want to know about his conversion experience. How did his conversion change the practical things in her life? What were the conversations when supposed friends told her to leave him? Did those conversations confuse her to the point that she thought about a life without him? If she would share more of herself, I think she could have a best seller.

Meanwhile, I can see this book as the basis of Sunday school classes for women in her situation, and if you want to start a class like this in your church, this is a valuable jumping-off place for a discussion group.

5.0 out of 5 stars Recommended by Reader's Choice Book Reviews, September 26, 2010
For a modern Christian wife, hoping and waiting for your husband to embrace Jesus as his savior is not enough. With Mission Possible, Deborah McCarragher hopes to offer a guide to show your man the path to finding and creating a relationship with our Lord.

Like many North Americans, author Deborah McCarragher made many excuses for not going to church. Finally, in the spring of 1989 she attended with a neighbor. As she describes it, Deborah was "radically saved" that first Sunday. She took her two-year-old son and each week she became closer and closer to God. Her husband approved, but would not attend church. During this time Deborah decided that her husband was "on lease" to Satan. A "spiritual skirmish" was taking place--God's desire to see a couple united together as one versus Satan's opposition to Holy Union.

At this time many women may give up the battle for their husband's soul, seek a divorce and a new man who is a believer. With Mission Possible: Spiritual Covering the author encourages women to stay the course as even good, moral men devoted to the marriage and family need help to find salvation. The book offers a step-by-step "How to" guide to showing your husband God's mercy, love, and desire. Each chapter concludes with a "Seek and Find" section that presents questions concerning applicable scriptures. These questions help the reader fully understand and utilize the information previously covered.

Modern families are bombarded with temptations and numerous issues from financial concerns to troubles at schools and in communities. A couple with a shared spiritual foundation is better equipped to stand against these challenges. The struggle to help your husband develop a personal relationship with God is no easy task. With trust in your faith and the spiritual tools found in this book, this religious obstacle can be become Mission Possible!

The book was written for women, however I believe it would just as helpful to men hoping to show their wives the path to God. Religious differences continue to be a leading cause of marital break up. Mission Possible could save your mate and your marriage. Highly Recommended by Reader's Choice Book Reviews.
