DO NOT Over-tighten. Nice mirror, horrible instructions,

Lovely mirror, but the instructions leave much to be desired. First off, do not over-tighten the screws that attach the brackets to the mirror! It will break the mirror...
Second, the allen wrench to tighten those screws is not included. Third, the directions say that the brackets are 29 1/2" apart, when in fact they are only 24" apart in order to drill the holes. If anyone did not measure this themselves, they would have unnecessary holes in their wall. Make sure you have a sturdy wall or studs to drill into as it will need to support the moderate weight. Also you will need two people to attach this to the wall, one to hold it and the other to screw it in. Dont try it by yourself! Once the finished product is up on the wall however, its a very fashionable modern mirror. |
