This is the second book of "A Tiny Blessings Tale" and the eighth book of Tiny Blessings. This book focuses on Eric Pellegrino, who was a missionary in Africa when he and the heroine of this story, Sam, met.

Samantha Harcourt is the granddaughter of the Harcourt who caused all the scandal at Tiny Blessings Adoption Agency. She is also the sister of the girl (Ashley) who gave up her baby in book two (I believe).

There are a lot of issues in this book. Foreign adoption, infertility, eating disorders, Africa, and salvation. These stories will make you laugh and cry!

The ongoing story is hinted at in this story, but it's really pretty mellow. I'd say of all the books, this one would be the easiest to understand if you are reading it solo...

The romance was pretty sweet as well. Though I liked some of the other books better, this book was still really good!

Linda Goodnight wrote a very good story in this book. It has many different stories within the story. It tells of the life of orphan children in Africa, the dedication of a man building an orphanage for them there, the life of a model who visits and for one day helps work on the orphanage when on a model shoot. It also tells of her struggle with an eating disorder and how it is a continual challenge each day even after she has learned to manage the problem successfully over a period of years. And tells how she helps young girls who have the problem. It also tells of the problems of singles trying to adopt children from Africa. And more. I enjoyed this story much.
