Ike & Tina at their best, June 25, 2000

Ike, a great musician for the most part, really shines on most of the tracks. Ikes rhythm seems to really connect with Tina as churns out the tunes. There possibly may be a few tracks which could have stayed off, Push, Chicken and Jesus just to name a few. Mississippi Rolling Stone, Living For The City, Tina's Prayer, Golden Empire and Let's Get It On must be my favorite recordings of the great couple. All of these tracks are on this great CD. This CD definitely needs to be in any fans collection or any fan of simple soul/RB/rock music.
