I loved all four of these books. They all take place in the same house over a course of two hundred years. Four different families with four different sets of problems live there. You feel a part of the house by the time you're finished. Highly recommended.

The plots in the stories in this book are very predictable and are slightly saccarine. But, all in all, it's easy reading and pleasant compared to some other books that require complete concentration! I'd say, go for it if you want happy endings!
