5.0 out of 5 stars Seven Mistakes I've Been Making November 15, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is like a just-deployed air bag! It really wakes you up and could possibly save your life ;)

It provides great tips and insights into how to "think" like a better writer for the card market, and is written in such a way that it walks its own talk. Kate's generosity in sharing her experience and perspectives into the card industry are phenomenal - and I can't imagine anyone reading this book without learning something of pivotal value.

I sure wish I'd read it 40 years ago!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book If You Want to Communicate with the Heart November 14, 2012
By George
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The moment I saw this book I had to have it.

As a professional business copy writer I am always on the look-out for ways to improve my ability to communicate. The book is all good.

It's short and to the point, but you can see immediately the wisdom Kate puts into each page. If you want to write greeting cards, this is a must have. Actually, in my opinion, if you want to write anything in a manner which truly connects with your reader, you can benefit with this book. It's a winner.

5.0 out of 5 stars 7 Mistakes Greeting Card Writers Make March 16, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
This little booklet is amazing! Once again, Kate Harper has come through in shining colors. :-)

I am so glad that I read this because I would have done exactly what it tells me NOT to do.

It's so easy to understand Kate's writing. She always speaks in a tone that is friendly and caring. It's more like learning from a friend than a teacher. It was actually fun to read!

After learning so much from Kate, I truly believe "I can fly" now ... at least I'm not frightened to true anymore. :-)
