Okay, I must admit I haven't felt this giddy since high school. I Love Mister Neutron! They're fun, witty and brilliant! I've been listening to this CD for about two weeks now and I feel like I have an intimate relationship with Mister Neutron and keep having thoughts like you and me. Damian is a genius on the guitar and his voice is a dead ringer for the lead singer "TMBG". Everyday I have a favorite new song, at first I was hooked on Hydroplaning and then Pretty Green Thing and now I can't get enough of Atomic Supermen. After hearing this CD, I really don't mind calling Damian ZAR and promise no hoop earring ever again! So, if you're ready to listen to great music, get in a good mood and possibly do some dancing, then buy this CD and enjoy the ride!!!!

What more could you ask for? These guys are tight, talented, top-notch songwriters and full of extremely clever lyrical wit a la They Might Be Giants, Guided By Voices, and many others. Buy this album! Then play it!

With a tight trio of talented musicians behind its sturdy, steady sound, Mister Neutron Loves You takes you in 19 different musical directions, all of them leading back to the roots of great rock 'n' roll. Especially strong are the blues and surf tracks that make you realize just how good these genres can be with the right people playing the instruments.

I am addicted to this CD. It happened after only one week. I've only listened to it while in my car, and driving the highways, skyways, and byways will never be the same - it is now actually fun to drive in New Jersey! I experienced withdrawal symptoms yesterday when I lent the CD to a friend at work, and driving was so slow and laborious I swear it took me an extra half hour to get home. I'm afraid to take the CD out of my car ever again. When I listen to Mister Neutron when I'm driving, I don't even mind being behind a Subaru. I've always loathed being behind those slllooow Subaru drivers, but just yesterday morning I was surrounded by a fleet of them and I didn't even cry. I'll be the first to admit I don't know a riff from a bass line, but whatever it is this trio is doing, it works. It's all good. My favorites are Mrs. Neil Armstrong, Hydroplaning, Waterworks, and Mister Neutron Loves You. If you're looking to wallow in despair, then buy a Chris Isaak CD because Mister Neutron will make you happy. The music is fun, the lyrics are sometimes wacky, and if it doesn't at least make you smile, then you just don't get it. You'll have fun, fun, fun, till your daddy takes the CD away - because he'll want to listen to it, too. So my only advice to you is don't you dare buy one of these CDs. Buy two, or three, or four...

I love this CD. The playing is great and tight, and the lyrics are very witty. My favorite songs are "Danger Diabolik" -- I love the surf/spy edge to it ... it should be on a Quentin Tarantino movie!; "Pretty Green Thing" -- about a guy who falls in love with a plant ... "I'll trade you oxygen for chloriphyll" (LOVE THAT LINE!); "Whirligig" -- the B-Bender sounds great, just like Clarence White. This band plays all different types of music, and it really works together perfectly on this CD.

Mister Neutron makes you want to sing and dance and holler. The lyrics are funny and clever and the music is anything but ....well.....common. It's surf without the turf, rock, without the roll, and well....you'll just have to listen for yourself, and see. But, be warned the music is sort of addicting in a weird way. You listen once, and you listen twice, and you think wait, "WHAT?" Then you listen again, and you laugh, and you feel good. Hey it's what music is all about. It doesn't make any sense really, but you still just gotta play it one more time. It's intense. It's odd. IT'S MISTER NEUTRON. And it's a heck of a lot of fun to listen to.
