5.0 out of 5 stars Tip top x-mas silly fun for Kids & Adults!, September 19, 1999

Thank Gawd for Dan Hicks. What would x-mas be without "the bald headed raindeer"? As Always Hicks' crooning is sublime.

4.0 out of 5 stars Where, oh where's my Santa Claus suit?, December 9, 2004
By
This review is from: Mistletoe Jam (Audio CD)
The Christmas Jug Band is an all-acoustic, tongue-in-cheek collaboration concerning itself with a high degree of holiday spirit and revelry. This is their first album, of four so far. It is a lot of fun. Most of the songs are performed with a sense of humor. Several of the songs are in fact rewritten versions of non-Christmas songs. "Somebody Stole My Santa Claus Suit" is one of my favorite Christmas songs. I would recommend this album to anyone who likes Christmas music that doesn't take itself too seriously.
