I picked up these at a warehouse mostly because I just recently started baking and didn't want to use those commercial cooking sprays.

However, I wasn't really sure these sprayers would work very well based on some bad reviews I had read here a while ago about clogging, but I had also read a tip about untightening the top after each use, to release pressure, which would keep it from clogging. Well, that seems to do the trick because I've been using these sprayers for two months now with no problems.

Filling only half way, as per instructions, allows you to pump enough times to produce enough pressure for 15-20 seconds of mist, which is sufficient to grease a pan.

I am using the silver Misto for extra virgin olive oil and the other one for grapeseed oil (which I use to grease pans and molds), no clogging problems with either oil.

Nice looking, good quality materials, easy to use.

Highly recommended.
