Product Description

Amazon.com Review

Mixing an elegant, bone-dry martini is a snap with this stylish, nonaerosol vermouth sprayer. Just push the top with a manicured forefinger and mist the inside of a frosted glass or spray the top of your drink. The sprayer's glass vial holds 1 ounce of vermouth and refills easily with a tiny funnel (included). At just 3-1/2 inches high and less than 1 inch in diameter, the sprayer tucks into pocket or purse so it can accompany you to a cocktail lounge. There you can dazzle a bartender and get a conversation started by whipping out the satin-silver sprayer and adding your own benediction to icy gin. Sprayer, funnel, and drink recipes come in an elegant, charcoal-colored gift box. --Fred Brack

5.0 out of 5 stars Misto your way to martini paradise!, May 9, 2000
By
This review is from: Misto Martini Vermouth Sprayer (Kitchen)
A dry martini is a thing of beauty to behold. However, mixing a good one is no small feat. This vermouth mister not only increases your odds of success, but also adds a jazzy flair to the preparation process. I like to lightly spritz my chilled glass before pouring in the ice-strained gin. A small but vocal contingent of fellow martiniacs prefers to float a vermouth spritz on top of the gin after it's strained into the glass. Either way, garnish with a vermouth-marinated olive and remember that immortal line from "The Seven-Year Itch": "There's gin and vermouth. That's a martini."

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice..but almost a novelty item, May 10, 2003
This review is from: Misto Martini Vermouth Sprayer (Kitchen)
This , as a gift, made a big hit with a martini-loving friend. It a great conversation starter at your home bar. I think its a fine item if you love bar gadgets and have the room for another one. I don't think it falls into the *i really need this* catagory even tho it takes the guesswork out of a really classic martini... where *dryness* is the goal.

I tend to think of this item this item when I am gift shopping for a friend who loves barware...or is new to martinis...or just setting up a home bar. Its fun, altho more of a novelty and a necessity.
