A hot story about Female Domination!!!, January 27, 2008
This review is from: Mistress Karin (Paperback)
Allow me to start of by saying that Mistress Karin by Constance Pennington Smythe is basically a long short story that's double-spaced and expanded to sixty-six pages in length. It's not a novel, folks. Sometimes people buy books without noticing what the page length is, and I wouldn't want you to be surprised. Does this mean that Mistress Karin isn't a good erotic story? No, it doesn't. In fact, it's an excellent story about how one wife uses her husband's fantasy of living in a female-led-marriage to create a more perfect life for herself and to be the Mistress of the household.
The story centers on a married woman who finally chooses to change her life and marriage for the better. Karin's husband has been nagging her for years to take charge of their marriage and to make him her personal slave. Deciding to take the plunge into Female Domination, Karin carefully questions her submissive husband to see if he's sincere in wanting to place her interests and desires above his own. The husband is given a short amount of time in which to answer the question, or to once-and-for-all shut up about his fantasies about being dominated. The husband quickly makes the decision to be his wife's slave and almost immediately finds his whole life turned upside down as she swiftly teaches him the new rules of the household and the levels of punishment he can expect to endure for the slightest infraction. She trains him on how to properly worship a woman, to take care of the many household chores, and to accept the amounts of pain that are given to him. Mistress Karin also changes her husband into a French maid, named Suzette, by making him shave off his body hair and to dress in sexy women's clothes. He then becomes her full-time servant, living only to please her in whatever sadistic manner she chooses. He bathes her and massages her body and kisses her feet in total servitude. But, this is just the tip of the iceberg. There's more for Suzette to learn. He's soon placed under the tutelage of Trudi, a German female aerobics instructor, so that he can learn how to be a better woman and to walk and move like an actual female when wearing stiletto-heeled shoes. He also finds himself being paddled good and hard by the infamous Mistress Remington for causing her to wait too long at the front door of his Mistress's home.
Unfortunately, that's pretty much the story. As I mentioned earlier, it's rather short, and it just seems to really get going when the end is suddenly reached. As an example, though Mistress Karin briefly discusses the fact that she's cuckolding Suzette with other men, the act itself is never viewed or written about. The reader is left in the dark. I know that I wanted to learn more about the cuckolding experience and the things that Karin forces her husband to do when her lovers come over. On the plus side, there's no doubt in my mind that the story, Mistress Karin, was written by a woman who actually practices the lifestyle of Female Domination. This clearly shows with each sentence in the book and in how Mistress Karin specifically uses her husband for her own pleasure. That's an important aspect to this story. Male readers are eager to read stories and novels written dominant woman.
As I write this review, a novel by Constance Pennington Smythe has just come out. It's titled The Breaking Cage, and it continues where Mistress Karin left off. This novel is around 280 pages in length and goes into greater detail about the life of Karin and her feminized husband, and the harsh things that he's forced to submit to as she cuckolds him with other men. I'm already excited about reading it. This author knows how to write an arousing story that's sure to stimulate every submissive male who buys the book, and that's all any reader of erotica can ask for.

A reasonable slice of Female Domination, this one focuses on a wife who has feminised her husband, making him into her sissy maid. It's well written stuff, nice and kinky... BUT, it's extremely short. The book itself is a thin one, and then you realise that a good third of it's thickness is adverts and extracts of other stories stuck into the back. The actual story you buy is only about 75 pages long, which for me is a disappointment. The sequel, "The Breaking Cage", is a much superior and much longer work.
