I read the 2nd book in less than 10 hours (and that's saying a lot for me).

This book was "all that and them sum" really page turner I couldn't wait to see what happened next and to whom.

Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised in reading a more in-depth novel, chock full of emotions from each character.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I read Message From A Mistress earlier in the year and couldn't wait for the follow up to have the question "Who was the dirty dog?" answered. The author showed the growth of Rene,Aria, and Jaime after Jessa's betrayal. They all reached bottom and found their way back through the love and support of friends. Rene was able to deal with her drinking only after she made the decision that she would have to let the love of her life go and that her children deserved to have her whole. Aria had to forgive herself in order to save her marriage to Kingston and Jaime needed to define who she was and not rely on others' perceptions of who she should be. If there was anything that I would have liked the author to delve into a bit more it would have been how Jessa spiraled out of control after the death of her husband. How deep her pain must have been to betray those that were there for her during her grief. Jackson irritated me to no end in MFAM, but I was kinda pulling for him in this book. Hoping that he could find a way put his family back together. The story of Jackson & Rene after the dusts settles is begging to be told. How do they survive another mistress(Jackson's)? Well done Ms. Bryant!

I PRE-ORDERED THIS BOOK BACK IN FEBRUARY AND HAD BEEN WAITING DEPSERATELY FOR IT'S RELEASE SINCE LAST YEAR. I STARTED AND FINISHED THE BOOK YESTERDAY BECAUSE I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. I THOUGHT MESSAGE FROM A MISTRESS WAS GOOD, BUT THIS ONE TOPPED IT. THE EMOTIONS PORTRAYED IN THIS BOOK WERE PHENOMENAL. I LOVED ALL THE TWISTS AND TURNS AND WAS WONDERING WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT AFTER EVERY PAGE. ALTHOUGH, I WOULD HAVE LIKED IT TO BE A LITTLE LONGER AND TO KNOW A BIT MORE ABOUT THE FUTURES OF EACH OF THE CHARACTERS I WAS CERTAINLY NOT DISAPPOINTED. WELL DONE.

I read "Message from a Mistress" and "Mistress No More" back to back over 2 days. I couldn't wait to find out who the cheating husband was. My guess was wrong. This story was drama filled, funny, had a few "mouth hanging open" moments for me.

I liked Jaime's story the best. I was sort of disappointed in Renee's out of control drinking. I felt it was a bit too much. But I guess that's how alcoholics roll.

It would have been nice to know the characters exact ages. We knew Renee was in her forties, the oldest of the bunch. She and Jackson were college sweethearts so around the same age. But then we find out that Jackson's mother was 55 and I was doing the math. HUH???? I assume Jamie was in her late twenties?? I believe Aria was the youngest of the bunch.

Ok do these women not wear lipstick? And why does lip gloss taste so good because every other sentence they were eating or licking the lip gloss of their lips. And why every time Jessa spoke it was with her "husky" voice? That got irritating after a while.

A "mouth hanging open moment" for me was when Niobia described Renee seeing her son's anus hanging open. I could not believe that. Dang! Did he have as many male lovers as Aria did as a teenager????

This book dragged on as much as the first book. This book takes place over months instead of a day like the first one did and thankfully it lacks the 50 million flashbacks that the first book contained. We learn which husband Jessa was having the affair with about half way through, but it was a husband I didn't really care about so I actually wanted it to be him so the other two couples could work on their marriages. We all knew the wives' secrets were gonna come out eventually so there wasn't much suspense when they finally did. There wasn't any closure at the end. This book left a lot of unanswered questions. I wish there had been an epilogue that told what happened a few months or so after everything that happened at the end. Trying not to include any spoilers but we really didn't learn anything we didn't know in the first book other than which husband Jessa "stole". I don't feel like this book was necessary at all and instead of dragging out the first book so much, the information in this book should have been included in the first one. I do like how Niobia Bryant is one of the few authors who can have different characters in the same book without them all feeling like the same character with a different name, but this book should have been filled with way more drama so that's why I'm giving it 3 stars.

I must admit this book was krazy. I read part 1 and couldn"t wait until part 2 came out. Nobia Bryant is TOO WORDY and takes too long to get to the point but the plot was good. That dang Jessa Bell CTHU.....She caused hell in everybody household boi I tell you. She kept me laughing. I knew it was going to be Jamie husband that she was sleeping with because she was the only one indenial. She pretended her marriage was the BOMB.COM and really it wasn't even halfway decent. I wanted to hop in that book and beat Jessa down myself lol...

I rated this book four stars because although it was worth the wait and very well written, i.e Aria's character, there was just too many unanswered questions at the end of the book. Without giving anything away I knew who the cheating husband was since the first book, I just wish that the author had Jessa Bell playing a bigger part in the book. At the end of Message from a Mistress you would assume that Jessa Bell would play a big part in the sequel causing all type of trouble, when in fact she was more apart of the first book than the second. There were random parts of the story that had me shaking my head because it was irrelevant unless she will do a spin off book with the characters, but I will say that that the author did a wonderful job expressing each woman's emotions, I really felt bad for Renee. After all is said and done if you read the first one you HAVE to read the sequel. It was worth the 15 dollars and express shipping :) I cant really say too much because it will give stuff away and I hate that, but TRUST was everyone's Achilles heel in this book.
