antebellum era book,
This review is from: Mistresses and Slaves: Plantation Women in South Carolina, 1830-80 (Women in American History) (Paperback)
I found it to be an easy readin g about the antebellum south. It is a great find and addition to any library for a antebellum scholar, college student or high school student. It came quick in the mail so I could further my research and would happily recommend it to anyone that sees the book.
