The fascinating characters from the first book in this series are supporting players in the second time-travel romance in the series. I enjoyed Tami Dee's sense of fun, adventure and romance that came through the pages loud and clear. Great story!

I fell in love with this story and simply couldn't put it down, even though I was supposed to be doing other things! It is a definite page turner. I had to see how things turned out for the characters. It is well-written with fast-paced, exciting action. I instantly fell in love with Davyn who is a true hero, I have to say. I love Tami Dee's sexy Vikings and can't wait to read more!

This is a nice story for light reading, but again, come on, guys! "Sole" mate??? You're going to find the "murder" instead of murderer? On and on ad nauseum. Can't these novels be read and corrected by someone who is actually LITERATE before being sold? If I were the author, I would be livid at how the Kindle editions detract from the novels because of sloppy editing.

A good book if you can overlook atleast 45-60 typographical errors. I dont know who is doing the transcribing at amazon on these kindle books, but they suck...its a shame that its so distracting that its making it difficult to read...

This second book was good to read and had alot of stories for each person involved. The excitement grew with each page. It had warmth, sadness and surrprise. Some of the characters reations were alittle unreal and shouldn't have accepted situtations that happened so easily, but this is a fiction book and was well written in my opinion. I will be starting book three shortly and hope it is as good as the first two books.

Tami Dee has a winner in Dawn of a Viking Sunrise. This is a book that once started, you will not be able to put down. The plot is very creative and imanginative. It's amazing how much detail is in this novel. At first, all the names and titles are a little hard to keep up with, but as you get into the story it all smooths out. The characters are wonderful. Rosalinda is a modern woman. The love she shows others is heart warming. As she travels through time, her reactions are believable considering every thing she goes through. Her big viking Davyn is the ultimate manly man. Being a man of the Dark Ages, some of his customs are barbaric. But as you get to know him you see he really has a heart of gold. The plot flows in many directions. You have bad guys, long lost sisters, misplaced cousins, and lots of friends old and new. I loved this book! It has it all -- humor, action, adventure, and romance. You do not want to miss this fabulous tale of true love! - Ammie

Dee crafts a tale full of excitement, adventure, and love with "Dawn of a Viking Sunrise." Rosie Chan and her cousin, Singlee, are accidently sent back through time, but after being stranded in the past, will they still want to go back to their time in 2009 San Francisco?
Dee's writing grabs the reader's attention immediately and doesn't let go. The plot moves fast and transitions well. The characters are compelling. Rosie has been spoiled her whole life, and when she's kidnapped, she learns what it means to be truly humble and thankful for the gifts in her life. Davyn also has some things to learn. When he finds his wife half starved to death in a neighboring Laird's dungeon, he pushes aside his "alpha" personality to give her what she needs to survive. Singlee also has to face his problems. He doesn't take things as seriously as he should. How these characters grow are a delight to the reader. Dee's descriptions are vivid using a good economy of words. It's easy to picture her novel's settings. The story is "sophisticated" for romance readers with a love scene between Rosie and Davyn. "Dawn of a Viking Sunrise" is an action packed thrill ride filled with heartache, loss, and love. |
