5.0 out of 5 stars Great TV -AWESOME PICTURE!!!!
I bought this TV 6 months ago, and have LOVED it ever since!! The picture is the best I have seen compared to similar sets.. The whites is the first thing you will notice when watching it, it jumps out at you it is so bright white! Really is awesome to watch, although a little pricy but you do get what you pay for!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Product., December 8, 2007
This review is from: Mitsubishi WD-62527 62-Inch LCD Projection HDTV (Electronics)
I purchased the Mitsubishi brand TV after carefully doing some research on DLP type TV's. I was impressed from the start. I purchased a 62inch set in mid 2005 and had no problems for 2 years.
When I did have a problem it was the lamp ($210.00) Shortly after that the Ballast went. $300 for part and $280 Labor.
I can only say that make sure you purchase the extended warranty.
I still like their TV's and would purchase another one.

-Two HDMI inputs

Cons:

-Built-in tuner is extremely slow, essentially unusable
-Built-in speakers are terrible, definitely going to need an external amp and stereo or surround sound speakers
-The ballast went out after 18 months. $300 part $300 labor.

The repair man stated that bad ballasts are a common problem with this product line. Thus, buy the extended warranty if you purchase this or the 2006/2007 version.

5.0 out of 5 stars Owned this tv for 4 years..., December 22, 2009
This review is from: Mitsubishi WD-62527 62-Inch LCD Projection HDTV (Electronics)
Owned since 05. Great TV for its time and still very good today. Good graphics even though 720p but will upload to 1080i. Very natural colors and good for gaming as well. Lamps go out every two years with a lot of use but no big deal as you can replace them yourself. Bullet proof and very dependable!
