Book Description

July 16, 2011
Mitt Romney’s Deception reveals the former Massachusetts Governor’s promotion of “gay rights,” his unconstitutional implementation of “gay marriage,” and his support for sexual-radical programs in the Massachusetts schools. The outrages Romney failed to halt set horrible precedents for radical leftist victories nationwide. Contrary to his claim that he defended marriage, the Constitution, traditional values, and religious freedom, he actually undermined them. Contrada’s research will prove invaluable in assessing Mitt Romney as a Presidential candidate. Focusing on the issue of “gay rights,” Contrada documents his largely untold history as Governor. During those years (2003-2006), Romney: • worked closely with homosexual activists and pro-gay rights advisors • implemented “gay marriage,” violating the Massachusetts Constitution • pushed a constitutional amendment strategy doomed to failure, and ignored the call to remove the “gay marriage” judges • funded and promoted GLBT indoctrination in the public schools through his Governor’s Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth, and his Department of Education “Safe Schools” programs • undermined religious freedom, failing to defend Catholic Charities in the “homosexual adoptions” fiasco • continued or implemented radical GLBT programs in his executive departments This superbly documented history has over 900 detailed footnotes. It is a unique resource by an activist on the front lines of the culture war during Mitt Romney’s term as Governor. Note: Adult content.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Truth and Nothing But the Truth, August 29, 2011
This review is from: Mitt Romney's Deception: His Stealth Promotion of "Gay Rights" and "Gay Marriage" in Massachusetts (Paperback)
As a journalist who lives in Massachusetts and has lived through Mitt Romney's governorship and the fracas over homosexual marriage, I've had plenty of opportunity to observe the events firsthand.

Contrada's book is on-target, accurate, and refreshingly truthful. There are substantial quantities of evidence that show Romney's complicity in the imposition of homosexual marriage on the rest of the country. There's also a surprisingly plentiful amount of evidence to support the claim that Romney is still in the back pocket of the homosexual lobby.

With careful attention to detail, Contrada simply moves through the evidence and provides the reader with enough evidence to see that a Romney White House will do to the rest of the nation what his one term as governor did to Massachusetts.

The book is not a hate-speech filled diatribe, but rather the presentation of facts by a meticulous researcher who has survived through the events she details.

It's an excellent, if albeit frightening, read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Resource on Romney's Record of Support for Homosexual Agenda!, August 29, 2011
This review is from: Mitt Romney's Deception: His Stealth Promotion of "Gay Rights" and "Gay Marriage" in Massachusetts (Paperback)
I have had an electronic copy of this book long before it went to hard copy, and I was amazed at the information-packed content of the book.

Amy Contrada has put together a very well-researched expose' of Mitt Romney's deplorable and quite unconservative record of extreme, inexcusable support for the radical homosexual agenda. His record is there for all the nation to see, and Ms. Contrada has taken the time to compile it for us.

Ms. Contrada lays the truth bare, and cites her sources. She has done a great service to those of us who love our country and the moral foundation that is essential to keep our society from crumbling into an amoral abyss. It is imperative that we not be fooled by the fake conservative Mitt Romney, and despite the false claims of another NON-review here, this is not about Romney's mormonism, but is about his leftism.

This book is an excellent read, and as I said, it clearly demonstrates the leftist who Mitt Romney really is. Read this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Mitt Romney's Deception, August 31, 2011

This review is from: Mitt Romney's Deception: His Stealth Promotion of "Gay Rights" and "Gay Marriage" in Massachusetts (Paperback)
Amy Contrada has done a service to the country by writing "Mitt Romney's Deception." The book addresses the issue of marriage and homosexuality which isn't covered adequately by the media. Even Fox News is compromised and confused and does a terrible job on the topic. If you want to know more about the nature of these issues, buy and read this book.

Republican candidates know that they're supposed to use rhetoric mirroring GOP Platform principles on the campaign trail, but not enough of them follow those principles once elected. I live in Illinois, where deception by Republicans is common. The Democrats, to their credit, are usually honest about their support for the wrong policies. We have a big fiscal and cultural mess to clean up in Illinois and in America. In the pages of Amy's book you will learn what you need to know in advance of casting your vote in the Republican primary.

Amy's book is Mitt Romney's worst nightmare. While his `flip-flops' are well known, his record as Massachusetts governor as outlined in Contrada's book is not well known. Mitt Romney would like nothing better than to win the votes of marriage-defending social conservatives. If they buy and read this book, however, they'll be voting for another candidate.

I can only hope that her work inspires a whole new genre - record based `tell alls' that will help us weed out the Republicans-in-name-only. Our culture and our country cannot afford leadership that is blatantly dishonest.
