This review is from: The Mitzvah Girl (Hardcover)
I started crying reading this in the bookstore, but that's just me. :) It's a nice Purim story about Shira, who has made her own costume and made a special shaloch manos (Purim basket) for her best friend, but ends up sharing away parts of both to her sad little brother and more impactfully, to a poor girl she meets along the way. It's as sugar sweet as Purim candy, but pleasant nonetheless. I got this for my precocious three year old, and she certainly enjoyed it - older kids will get more out of it.
