Pulser's "Cloudwalking" is one of the most emotionally charged tracks I've ever heard and I couldn't find it anywhere here in the U.S. Sure, I could've ordered import discs and spent more money, but I wanted to exhaust my options before settling on a below-average import. Then I found "Magik Vol. 6 -- Live in Amsterdam." That disc is amazing! One of my all time favorites. Completely HOT, HOT, HOT... but "Cloudwalking" is only limited to barely four minutes.

I wanted more. I WANTED MORE!!!

Then I found out about Blank and Jones's "In the Mix Vol. 2" and I decided to plunk down the cash for it (the American one disc release).... and I don't regret the purchase in the least! The mix flows with a quiet intensity that works well in the car, the bar, or the bedroom. The mixes don't really play out on an emotional level per se, but the disc in it's entireity is a pleasantly memorable diversion into uplifting trance. Plus, it has the Astral mix of "Cloudwalking" clocking in at five+ minutes... and I can live with that. :-D

This is truly a gem in the mix. The transitions from one tune to another are well connected and blended in, what mixes should be. Slowly moving you in, building you up, and then leaving you wanting to listen to it one more time! It's even difficult to recognize when the next song comes in. All the songs are not found in other trance cd's that get on your nerve. Trance this and trance that...so if you want a good quality mixed cd, buy this one, though the price can give you second thoughts. It's well worth the two cd's that you'd hate and stuff aside! Happy listening!

I've been collecting all cds of this couple of DJ's since 3 years ago, and, well..what can I say about this new album? I think it's the most refinated album of them. In fact, I consider this album as the best of trance music in 2003 compilations, followed by The Mix 2. Also, Blank & jones, through their past albums, have developed their own style: elegantly rhytmic, exquisite sounds, and the mixing of songs is well done. Don't be stopped by the price: it worth it.

The beginning starts off with this spiritual voice and blends into the haunting track "walking on fire". "The Mix" vol 2 lets you have it. The trance mix is loaded with enough bang to keep you wanting more.

This is the second volume to Blank & Jones "The Mix" compilation series, and is no doubt guarenteed to uplift and revitalize every aspect of your heart, of your soul to another lever, a higher state of consciousness..! I was trying to get a hold of the limited edition 3-CD set, which includes a bonus third disc, of ambient chilled grooves, but unfortunately it was indeed "limited" and out of stock from all vendors, which I had been searching...however, I still am very happy and pleased to the fullest with just the 2-Cd compilation....Bravo!

If you're looking for a cd that makes you want to dance this is it! It is the perfect cd to listen to when you are heading to the club going out with friends. This cd will definitely pump you up!

I now have 2 Limit Edition CD's by B&J. They only made 5000 copies of the orginal relax cd which I have and it is total cool. What can you say about this CD. WOW much better than the V1 in my opinion. Get the Limited edition the extra dough won't hurt you. My 2 cents or 2 bits.

I bought this knowing that Mix cd's are usually hit and miss. You usually get some great material interspliced with some garbage and really fruity lyrics, but in this case, I was met with a very solid mix that blends very well together. Although some of the Dj names are quiet stupid (Project Exor?) the music stands well on its own. The chicane song is awesome and well worth picking up the cd for.
