I wish they'd put more time into making this product, because the concept is beautiful. Alas, the "tape" is made of mere paper. (I guess I should have looked harder at the picture before I purchased.)

Read the description CAREFULLY. This is a folded up piece of laminated paper with a USB drive wedged inside. I wouldn't have thought making an actual plastic cassette into a holder would have been that expensive. I gave it as a gift and got a look as though I had made it myself in Origami class. For $5 it would have been ok, but for $20? Ripoff.

I knew the packaging was just going to be cardboard, and I got over it, because hey... beggars can't be choosers.

But the cardboard packaging with the USB drive inside looks NOTHING like the picture. I know they said different styles, but this doesn't even remind me of the cassettes I used to have. It's in weird pastel shades with BANJO artwork on it. WHAT THE WHAT.

Since it took me over a month to actually receive this, I decided against returning it, and I'm just giving it to the recipient anyways, but I'm pretty irked. It resembles the product I ordered in almost no way whatsoever.

In addition, I expected that the drive would've been formatted with a little executable or something so that you can load it with a playlist... instead, in order to have the songs play in the order you decide on (which any mix tape giver knows is very important!), the recipient must manually load the songs into the audio program of choice in the order you list in the liner notes. That's kind of a crappy gift. "Here, I made you this thing! ...Some assembly required."

Anyways, it's a little over-priced and underwhelming, but the nostalgic in me would've been happy with it regardless... if only matched what I thought I was ordering! Instead, I get a disappointing product that isn't even what I bought.

Wait to buy something like this till you can see it in a store and feel confident.

I was very excited to get this for a friend. I didn't mind the price at the time because I understood it was a novelty product so w/e. However, when I received it and opened it the case is MADE OUT OF CARDBOARD!! I mean, come on guys! I can get a 1 gb USB for $2 so you're telling me I paid $23 more for a folded piece of paper??!

It's so cheap I had to go to the store and buy something else for my friend because I felt bad to only get them that for Christmas (they always spend a larger amount on me and what not).

I'm jus disappointed that is all. I wish I would've gone with my first instinct. For only $25 more I could've gotten than iPod shuffle and it would have been a hell of a lot more useful than this. Again, I knew this was supposed to be more cute than useful but at least make it in a durable packaging.

The cassette is just a cardboard cutout. That would have been ok, but whole thing is just cardboard (no plastic box for the fake cassette. Too bad, too cheap to give to my girlfriend...even for a gag.

I should've read the other reviews before purchasing this product as a gift. It's a cheaply made card paper folded up to look like a cassette tape with a small storage flash drive in the middle.

Pros: Makes a great gift
Cons: for the price, is isn't worth a 1gb flash drive

2 stars because, it is what it says it is.. just not worth the price.

This product is a piece of garbage, I assumed the case would be of plastic and not a piece of folded cardboard, the label on the usb drive is crooked and it looks like junk.
it is not worth the price you pay for it at any price.

SOOOOOOOOO disappointed in this product.

Now I know why the name of the company has the word "SUCK" in it.

Used this stick on my computer and it went from always asking to be formatted to never being recognized.
I assumed my computer was the problem, but I tried it on more than five computers and the same problem occurred.
I was fine with the packaging and it arrived on the scheduled day, but that doesn't matter since I can't use it.
