What a most wonderful book. Most artists struggle with sharing techniques with others. Here Janette Schuster and friends share full details on a number of magical projects that are so clear and concise, even someone who feels like they have two left hands, will feel that they can create and be happy with the results.

Beautiful book with excellent photos and ideas. Also appreciate access to their website www.larkbooks.com, for craft suppliers. Recommend you sign up for their newsletter, very interesting. Have always found books by this publisher to be of the highest quality and a great value.

Wow ! What a fabulous book. Very well written, with easy to follow instructions. The art inside these covers is just so inspiring,
as a Jewelry Designer I found this book gave me a whole new outlook at Altered Art Jewelry.
I would highly recommend this book to all.

I have reviewed this book and think it is a good overview of many techniques. I like to experiment so, that is good for me. There was not a big glossy, inspiring gallery section, which is what I appreciate most. Good starter book for someone wanting to get into wire, metal, mixed-media-assemblage-jewelry-art.

My mother is a crafts person and I bought this for her. She loved it and has been making great things like this since she opened it!
If you love collage sculpture and are interested in how to make and construct it, this is a great book. However, the one thing you will need is a place to get all the doo-dads and random pieces!

This book has some really interesting projects and I have enjoyed it a lot. I expect that I will use some of the techniques fromt he book in my future crafting projects.

There is a lot of good information on techniques for joining metals together such as riveting. Unfortunately, I was hoping for more info on other methods and so I returned the book. The collaging wasn't to my taste either, but if you like the illustrated pieces, you will most likely enjoy the designs, they are all rather similar in style. There is a very nifty metal piece made from a fork that I found intriguing, with the tines curled and flattened. But alas, metalwork was not in my interests. If you want different ways to attach metals that involve metalworking, you'll find this book very useful.


The seller did get it to me very quickly and I was pleased with the packaging.
