Well, it's a spoon. It's a piece of shaped metal, and it definitely does the job. I'm a Barista and I picked up a few of these to help out here and there, and they definitely have made my life easier. The red caps will crack and come right off if you abuse them, but they're just for pretty anyway. My only gripe is I found these at Bed Bath and Beyond for less than it is here, and they're usually overpriced on their items. Otherwise, it's a great product.

The Winco is a very good 11" bar spoon that is heavy, sturdy, and well-finished. Curiously the spoon came without its advertised red rubber tip. Several other reviewers mentioned the same happened to them so future purchasers should expect the same. The Winco is a better bar spoon than the Excellante 11" bar spoon and costs 0.38 less.

The top red piece came out in the mail, but it's not that big of a deal. It's a bar spoon. It's weighty, it feels like it should. For $6, you can't beat it. Highly recommend for any bartender needing their own equipment.

A bar spoon always felt like a silly item to own for my home bar when I have ample regular kitchen spoons around. I was convinced to get one when I realized how often I was getting sticky fingers from using a regular teaspoon in a highball glass to stir up a drink. This spoon met my needs - stainless steel, inexpensive, simple design, and appropriate size/length. It is more than long enough to reach inside a highball glass without any finger contact. There's also something about owning specific tools for the job that can impress guests. Owning a bar spoon is simple, and inexpensive, but serves a very necessary purpose if you're entertaining.

The red tip is easily removable if you just want a simple all-stainless design. I took it off within minutes of taking it out of the packaging.

Got this yesterday, full of Black blemishes and the actual spoon part is badly made, the metal is not smooth. I guess you get what you pay.

I bought this with idea I could use it to mix drinks. So far I've mixed tang, strawberry lemonade, and baileys with hot chocolate. Not really what I was hoping to use it for, however it is effective for mixing anything. The long design allows it to stir the very bottom of most pitchers and with the twisted middle, makes stirring things so much easier. This spoon is awesome and does everything it says it does. I enjoy it and I'm sure you will too.

Appropriate length, solid. Gives a professional look when you do cocktails for your thirsty crowd :)
Clean right after use.

I always complained about my spoons not being tall enough to be able to stir a glass of tea or a travel mug of coffee, but not any more. This long and skinny spoon does a great job. Now I no longer have to dip my fingers in hot coffee when my spoon slips through my fingers. Very pleased with this purchase.

It's long enough for stirring a rather tall 5L pitcher, and its made of strong steel. Forget the red tip though... I took it right off because it was dirty

Quality bar spoon. Much thicker than most I've used, which is a plus. Great product for the price. Would recommend buying.
