I purchased this book for my 9 year-old who absolutely loves the movie. We bought the DVD years ago and he will still watch it occasionally. When I bought the book, I think he fell in love with the story all over again. The illustrations are incredible and the colors are so vibrant that I had to read it alongside my son. I would love to buy another one to keep as a collector's item.

Our family loves the Miyazaki Studio Ghibli films, and these books increase that enjoyment. The book is a faithful adaption of the movie, with movie stills used for the illustrations. My three year old will sit and simply look through the fascinating pictures all on his own. And he loves reading through it with us, as well.

We have 4 of the Miyazaki books from this series and they are all extremely high quality... I wish that all of his movies had books like these to go with them.

When I first saw the movie, I enjoyed it. So I got the book. But not every word is in it. But you better watch the movie first because even the tiniest detail in the book-in what they're saying-is not the exact same as in the movie. This sometimes happens in movies; the book is different than the movie. Overall, though, I loved this book more than anything.

Our heroine Chihiro, an ordinary little girl struggles in a world of spirits and magic. This story will surely take you away! With great artwork, and story telling, it's a joy for people of all ages.

This amazing movie should be shared with all friends and family. I was truly "Spirited Away" by the outstanding characters and wonderful setting. A touching story that you will want to watch over and over again.
