5.0 out of 5 stars Mizerak Maple vs. Trademark Global
Here on Amazon, I purchased two of the Mizerak Maple cues, and three of the Trademark Global cues, and I found the Mizerak cues to be far superior in quality. In a short period of time using the Trademark Global cues, the tip on one completely broke off, another now rattles due to something inside coming loose, and all three are warped. The Mizerak cues have suffered none...

versus
3.0 out of 5 stars IT is just OK
I read previous reviews, I have knew that the stick will not come with case, because i was hoping that this stick is good quality. However it turns out to be a little disappointed. The material is too soft, not hard enough. The bad results is It will keep vibrating when it hits ball.

The Mizerak cues have suffered none of that in the same period of time. The Trademark Global cues look very nice as they are advertised online, but have a very cheap "decal" look to them in person. The Mizerak cues are more simple in design, but have a much higher quality look about them. Also, the Trademark Global cues scratch very easily, whereas the Mizerak Maple cues are much more durable and scratch-resistant. Don't expect too much from a cue costing $20 to $30, but apparently, there can be a significant difference between cues at that price range.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent purchase ~ Mizerak Maple Billiard Cue, February 1, 2010

I bought this cue as a spare yet, once I began using it, it has become my everyday cue. Everyone else who has used it comments on what a nice cue it is and are surprised when I tell them how much it cost. Two of those folks have ordered one for themselves to date. Thanks!

I didn't know what to expect with this pool cue being so reasonably priced. It was above and beyond what I thought it would be. feels very nice and looks even better. We've been using it pretty heavily for the past couple months and it's holding up great!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great construction, great value, January 6, 2012

I am a novice pool player, so I can't address the performance of this stick versus a $200 one.

What I can say is the quality and construction of this stick far exceeds my expectations. Overall, it looks expensive. I purchased 2 because I was skeptical, but I immediately showed them to family and friends and they were amazed at the price. They insisted I order 2 more for a complete set, so I did. I'm very happy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Cue Stick, January 1, 2012

These cue sticks are really nice for the price. Only complaint I have is they don't tell you what weight they are and when I received them one was 19 oz and the other was 20 oz. Amazon was excellent in exchanging so both would be the same weight, unfortunately they are both 19 oz now and I would have preferred 20 oz sticks.

5.0 out of 5 stars High quality cue at a great price, October 19, 2011

I am not such a billiards buff that I'm willing to pay hundreds of dollars for a cue stick. So when I found the Mizerak Maple Billiard Cue on Amazon at a very fair price, I took a chance on it. I found it to be a high quality product, and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. The finish is excellent and allows the stick to slide smoothly through my fingers. As another reviewer pointed out, the weight is 19 oz, though this fact doesn't appear in the description.

Based on other reviews, I think there is some confusion about the nylon wrap. This consists of black nylon thread wrapped tightly around the stick in the grip area. It is present on my cue stick, and provides a fine grip.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Buy, August 22, 2011

I don't actually play pool much, but now that we have a pool table in our basement, I decided I needed one that would make my transition from amateur to slight better than amateur possible. I love this stick! I don't know much about pool sticks but I know that the grip is great, the the stick itself has a nice finish on it that makes it very easy to slide back and forth on. Very good price for a very good stick.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cleaning product, January 13, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Mizerak Maple Billiard Cue (Sports)
This should be renamed to a cleaning product...

because i have been clearing the balls off the table with it!

what an excellent priced cue and the quality is very much worth what I paid for it
it even stood up to cues that cost as much as $50

good purchase.

FYI, the handle on mine was wrapped when it came, but the string that wrapped it was a thin type of string. it feels fine as a grip
